In your case, you probably don't need it.īy the way, you DO have a full version of MATLAB if you have a campus license. This is very powerful in safety-critical applications in aerospace or automotive engineering. Polyspace uses static analysis to test source code without executing it and is capable of detecting bugs that are not detectable with dynamic testing. It is a separate product that can be used independently of MATLAB. Polyspace Test provides tools for developing, managing, and executing unit and integration tests for C and C++ code in embedded systems. Does the paid version of MATLAB contain more features and toolboxes compared to the campus licence? Or are they the same in quality? I wanted to know one other thing, I am a student at a university in Toronto, Canada and used the campus license that my university provided me with, so I don't have the full version (to my knowledge). ![]() ![]() so probably don't need all these toolboxes but will keep them if I need it. I mainly used MATLAB to do the basics in linear algebra like vectors, matrices, loops, arrays, etc. And I had to manually remove the 2023a from control panel (to uninstall the previous version) and also the "2023a" folder manually and remove it from my Recycle bin when it got there. Also from what I noticed, it didn't overwrite the 2023a MATLAB and made a separate subfolder within "MATLAB" folder in my local drive. Are you able to compile and run C/C++ programs into this feature? I haven't coded in C in several year and never used C++. Is the "Polyspace Test" package or whatever it is the new feature? I'm not sure what it is as I never used it before. ![]() Based of this Youtube video from MATLAB channel: I installed it a few minutes ago, it was quite a big file taking up about 33 GB of storage space and I installed all the toolboxes that was recommended, it's about the same size as the 2023a version.
